Faubert Named Maroons MVP
The Chatham Maroons handed their 2015-2016 Player Awards at a dinner held at The Links of Kent Golf Course on Saturday night.
This year’s captain Ian Faubert was named team MVP after leading Chatham with 77 points (23 goals and 54 assists) while playing in all 50 regular season games. Faubert added 4 goals and 8 assists for 12 points through 11 playoff games.
Former Dresden Jr King and Great Lakes Junior ‘C’ rookie of the year Ross Krieger added to his mantle, being named the Maroons’ Rookie of the Year, finishing third in team scoring with 51 points behind only Faubert and Gus Ford. Krieger also added 12 in the post-season.
