Lancers Headed To OFSAA Rugby

The UCC Lancers defeated the Northern Vikings 29-12 this week in the girls LKSSAA rugby final, earning their way to compete in the OFSSA AAA championship.

Trys were scored by Amber Lumley who had two, Delaney Taylor, Shelby Heyink, and Brooke Bechard. Alyssa Broeders kicked to converts.

Maid of the Match was Savannah Heyink.

The Lancers were dominant all season, outscoring their opponents 192-5 in the regular season, finishing a perfect 6-0.

The OFSAA rugby championships take place May 30-June 1 in Ottawa.
