CKXS-Morning-Sports-BriefsJordon Durston of Wallaceburg was busy over the weekend with the Vancouver Stealth.  The National Lacrosse league wrapping up the regular season and Durston had a good finish to the season, picking up an assist on Friday night and a goal on Saturday night.  The Stealth on a whole now so great as they were edged out by the Colorado Mammoth on Friday 11-10 then the Georgia Swarm gave them the swarm treatment 14-6 on Saturday

After being awarded a Trillium Grant the Wallaceburg Lacrosse Association is accepting proposals for Lacrosse Camps.  All the information that you need in order to apply is on their website.

Not a great weekend for the Wallaceburg Thrashers.  The Thrashers dropped an 8-6 decision to Owen Sound on Saturday and then on Sunday were spanked by Oakville 14-5.  According to the team they were pretty short on players.

LKSSAA baseball season kicks off today.  There are 7 teams in the league this year as UCC, Pain Court and Ridgetown join Petrolia, Lambton Central and 3 schools from Sarnia, St. Clair, St. Pats and SCITS making up the league. Today UCC will entertain Pain Court.

Sr Girls High School soccer action today, UCC hosts the Wallaceburg Lady Tartans, on the Sr Boys pitch the Tartans will be traveling to the Pines while Pain Court hosts Tilbury.

The Wallaceburg Lady Tartans go up against St Pats today in Sr Girls Rugby action, Northern welcomes both the Sr girls and Jr girls teams from UCC.
