Chatham Maroons forward Declan Conway and Chris Corgan will be taking their game to the college level next season after the duo made NCAA commitments recently.

Aging out as 1995 born forwards, Conway and Corgan both made a commitment to play for the Northland College Lumberjacks, who compete in NCAA D3.

Corgan played 12 games for the Maroons this season between the regular season and playoffs collecting 4 goals and 2 assists with the team. He also played for Thorold and Strathroy in the GOJHL this season. Previously, Corgan, who hails from Spring Lake, Michigan, skated in the NOJHL and NA3HL.

Conway was another midseason acquisition for the Maroons coming over in a trade from Fort Erie, while also making a stop in the NOJHL to start the season. Conway, a Painsville, Ohio product, scored 14 goals and 29 points in 36 GOJHL games this season split between Chatham and Fort Erie.

Last season, Northland College finished with a 7-15-3 record, including a 6-12-2 record in the NCHA.
