Austin Bentley Heads To Sarnia
Chatham’s Austin Bentley has been traded from the GOJHL’s Waterloo Siskins to the Sarnia Legionnaires.
The trade sends the 1997 born forward closer to home in the GOJHL’s Western Conference.
Last season with Waterloo, his first in Junior B, Bentley scored 13 goals and 29 points, along with 85 penalty minutes in 48 games.
The year prior, the 6’1″ forward, who attended Conestoga College while in Waterloo, split time between the Great Lakes Junior C League’s Dresden Kings and Blenheim Blades.
He is also a product of both the Chatham-Kent Cyclones ‘AAA’ and Kent Cobras program, and is a graduate of Chatham-Kent Secondary School.
