Lakers Add Assistant Coach
The Wallaceburg Lakers have followed up their recent nine on-ice signings with the official addition of an assistant coach.
Ryan Hope will join Joe Byrne Jr behind the bench to guide the 2016-17 Lakers organization.
Hope previously played and coached in the Chatham minor hockey system.
A Chatham resident and son of Chatham-Kent mayor Randy Hope, Ryan took to social media to express his appreciation for the position:
“I am honoured and beyond excited to start my new path in the hockey world. For the 2016/17 hockey season I am excited and blessed to announce I will be an assistant coach with the Wallaceburg Lakers Hockey Club. Thank you to the Lakers for this opportunity.”
