Chatham Maroons Schedule Released
The Chatham Maroons are gearing up for the 2016-17 season. 
The Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League regular season kicks off on September 10th with a showcase weekend in London.
The Maroons home opener hits the ice at Memorial Arena in Chatham on Sunday, September 18th against Sarnia.
Earlier this summer, the team named forward Steven Beenackers as captain for the upcoming season. Beenackers served as Assistant Captain last year.
Forwards Austin Thompson, Blair Derynck and Nolan VanderBoorn will return to the club, along with defencemen Michael Douglas, Aaron Jacobs and Cory Bussing, as well as goalie Brendan Johnston.
Chatham finished off the 2015-16 Jr B season in fourth place in the Western Conference with a record of 32-16-1-and-1.
