Drouin Makes High Jump Finals
Corunna’s Derek Drouin made jumping 2.29 metres look easy in Rio.
Drouin leapt into the high jump finals at the Olympic games after easily clearing his four qualifying jumps of 2.17, 2.22, 2.26 and 2.29
The 2015 world champion won gold by clearing 2.40.
Canadian Mike Mason did not qualify for the finals after missing attempts of 2.17, 2.25 and 2.29.
The finals are scheduled for Tuesday night at 7:30 pm
