Big Season For Chatham Golden Eagles U12

The Chatham Girls Minor Softball Association had a big year, with special thanks to the Golden Eagles under 12 Squirt Girls FastPitch team.

Coaches, players and families were given quite the summer ride as the girls picked up multiple medals at various tournaments this season, placing Chatham girls minor softball in the limelight. The Squirts picked up two gold medals, two silvers and a bronze in tournament play across the province.

The season was capped off with a silver at the provincial qualifiers, earning the girls a spot in the ‘A’ Division Championship in Brampton. Chatham finished with a bronze, being named the third best team in Ontario from a field of 36.

This is the second ‘A’ division medal for this group and the second ‘A’ division medal in the history of the Chatham Girls Minor Softball Association.
