Dresden Acquires Goalie MacAlpine

The Dresden Jr Kings have a goaltender.

Dresden has acquired experienced netminder Cam MacAlpine from the Petrolia Flyers.

MacAlpine, 19, has spent the last two years in the Flyers system, previously located in Alvinston.

A 6’2″ goalie, MacAlpine is from Brigden and brings 34 games of experience between the pipes at the PJHL/Great Lakes Jr C level. MacAlpine split time in net with Matt Boere in Alvinston last season.

Cam has a career 4.18 goals against average (GAA) and .876 save percentage in his Jr C career.

The Kings have also announced they have resigned defenceman Ben Nicholls and forwards Phil Clarke and Brock Daugherty.

Dresden hosts Mooretown in pre-season play Friday at 7:30pm
