Gracie Barra Cleans Up

Gracie Barra Chatham students competed at the 2016 GTA Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Classic on Saturday September 10th. The event took place at the Brampton Soccer Center. The event drew many competitors from all over Ontario and Quebec.

There were a total of 8 students that competed, 7 kids/youth and one adult. They fought very hard in each of their divisions and achieved the following results in their perspective age/weight/skill level. Katie Crew (Bronze), Jackson Campbell (Silver), Jayla Campbell (Silver), Dylan Beaulieu (Bronze), Isabelle Armstrong (Bronze), and the only adult competitor Robbie St. Jean won Silver.

Up next for Gracie Barra Chatham, 3 students will be competing in Sons of Victory an Amateur MMA event in Kitchener ON on Sept 17th at Elements Nightclub. Tyler Paddick, Dee-Jay Ladouceur and popular for his rugby Chad Nolan. Tickets are available at www.ticketscene.ca use code “GracieBara”.
