Ladouceur Wins In The Cage
Dee-Jay Ladouceur was up first she dominated all 3 rounds winning her a 30-27 decision victory against Greta Dearing (0-3) of Phoenix Martial Arts in Mount Forrest. This improved her record to 2-1, she has come along way since her debut in June at Maple City Cagefighting in Chatham.
Chad Nolan taking his debut MMA fight at age 40 is impressive in itself. His opponent landed a nice punch right off the start so Chad took him down and had him pinned against the cage while throwing a flurry of punches, it was close to a TKO but then the fight was stood up too quickly as Chad was in position to win. They went back to their feet where there was some trading of punches. Chad stumbled back and the referee quickly stopped the fight. It was a good call by ref but unfortunately he lost to Brandon Daigneault (1-0) of Straight Blast Niagara in 1st round TKO.
Last up was Tyler Paddick, he had a tough fight but is a true fighter, he was hit with an accidental knee while preparing for the fight and was unable to spar at all before the fight. Unfortunately if your not training hard enough to have a chance of getting hurt, your not training hard enough to fight. His fight started off good then his opponent took him down and he just couldn’t shake him off. Tyler ended up losing by TKO in 1st round to Craig Higgins (1-0) of MAS Muay Thai.
Next up Byron Sanchuk (1-1) will be fighting at Future Combat Stars in Windsor Sept 24th against Alex Sosa (0-0) of Evolucao Thai in Toronto.
