Trenton McGrail Makes OHL Debut With Knights

Dresden’s Trenton McGrail made his Ontario Hockey League (OHL) debut Friday knight with the London Knights.

After London decided to pull starter Tyler Johnson early in the third, McGrail came into to backstop the Knights through the third period and into overtime.

McGrail made 6 saves in the third period, before allowing a powerplay goal in overtime to drop a 4-3 decision to the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds.

McGrail is playing for the GOJHL’s London Nationals and was a call up to the Knights. He was replacing Knights’ netminder Tyler Parsons who is out with an injury.

At the other end of the rink, Chatham’s Joseph Raaymakers made 31 saves for the Greyhounds in the win.
