Wallaceburg Man One Of World’s Toughest Mudders

Wallaceburg’s Joe Perry laced up a pair of running shoes a few years ago and hasn’t looked back.
A member of the ‘Burg’s Defiance Running Club, Perry has become one of the faces of the Tough Mudder craze throughout North America.
This past weekend, the 47-year-old competed in Las Vegas, for his third World’s Toughest Mudder event, finishing third in his division and 111th overall. A total of 1,216 athletes competed in the world stage competition.
Joe completed 13 laps of the World’s Toughest Mudder course and raced for 25 hours, 1 minute and 49 seconds.
