Maroons Fire Verbeek

The Chatham Maroons today relieved Brian Verbeek of his head coaching responsibilities.

The team announced that for the time being, Bob Burroughs and Ryan Hope will be the interim co-head coaches until a replacement can be found.

“The Maroons appreciate Brian’s contributions during his tenure in Chatham,” the team wrote in their news release, in which they also stated there would be “no further comment on the issue.”

The Chatham Maroons next face the Strathroy Rockets December 22 at 7pm at Chatham’s Memorial Arena.
