Sydnee Baker Named AUS Rookie of the Year
Also named to the AUS all-rookie team, Baker played 24 games for the Panthers this season, leading the team in goals with 10, and total point wiht 16.
An arts student, Baker, who stands five-foot-ten, had two goals in two postseason games as well.
The former London Devilettes and Chatham Outlaws player is the first UPEI Panthers player to earn AUS rookie of the year honours.
She will now be in consideration for the top USports women’s hockey rookie of the year.
