From Chatham To Chatham, Reed Makes NCAA Commitment
The 1997 born defenseman spent this season with the NOJHL’s Soo Thunderbirds where he scored 2 goals and 12 points in 30 games. He also skated in 4 games with the GOJHL’s Chatham Maroons.
Last season, Reed played 43 games with the St. Thomas Stars, where he had 23 points in 43 games.
The former Chatham-Kent Cyclones defender will join the Chatham University Cougars as they enter the inaugural season of NCAA DIII hockey in the United Collegiate Hockey Conference (UCHC).
The new 10 team conference will feature teams from the USA’s Northeastern States.
