This past weekend in York Region the U12 Chatham-Kent Wildcats met with scoreboard success at the Ontario Cup for their third straight Ontario title.

Friday night Chatham-Kent won in Overtime with 33-31 vs St. Catherine’s. Abby Brown lead the team with 14 points, while Abby Denomy had 6 points.

Saturday the Wildcats were successful against the London 86ers with Victoria Newcombe scoring 8, and Emily Stokes 7.

Again Saturday, the Wildcats continued to win beating the Dundas Dynamos 26–20. Sofia Makinen led scorers with 8.

In the gold medal game Sundaym, the Chatham-Kent played Timmins and won 25-23 with Denomy scoring 6 points to lead her team.
