Bantam Outlaws Win Lower Lakes Championship
The Outlaws beat St Thomas, London, and Windsor to advance to the championship weekend, where they went undefeated all tournament. The team won against Whitby, Stoney Creek, Kitchener and tied North York in round robin play, which sent them straight to the gold medal match. They met up again with Whitby, and won 3-0 to secure gold. The Outlaws had three shutouts on the weekend.
The Outlaws finished their regular season with 17 wins, 1 loss, and 4 ties. They had a league best 38 points, 68 goals for, and only 15 goals against, which was the fewest goals allowed in the entire bantam A divison.
The team heads to OWHA provincials next weekend.
