Fox Finishes Memorable Season

Thamesville’s Dane Fox continued to improve and put up numbers in his third professional season.

In fact, Fox set a Missouri Mavericks team record scoring 76-points this season.

Fox had a team leading 34 goals, and 42 assists, including a goal and an assist in Saturday’s season finale against the Utah Grizzlies.

The totals put Fox 11th in ECHL scoring.

Unfortunately, Fox’s season is over as the Missouri Mavericks did not qualify for the ECHL playoffs.

The former OHL First Team All-Star and Overage Player of the Year will look to climb the professional hockey ranks next season and secure a spot in the AHL. He played two OHL games in 2015-2016 recording an assist.
