Fox, Harrogate In OHL Final

Thamesville’s Trent fox and Chatham’s Brendan Harrogate will have the opportunity to play for an OHL Championship, and a spot in the 2017 Memorial Cup this month.

The duo play for the OHL’s Mississauga Steelheads, who won the Bobby Orr Trophy as the OHL’s Eastern Conference champions. They will face the Erie Otters, Fox’s former team, in the OHL final.

The Steelheads swept the Peterborough Petes 4-0.

In 15 playoff games, Fox, who is in his third OHL season, has 5 goals and 6 assists for 11 points.

Harrogate has 3 goals in 10 games this postseason.

Game 1 of their best-of-seven series will take place Thursday, May 4 at 7pm in Erie.

The 2017 Mastercard Memorial Cup will be hosted in Windsor May 18-28.
