Former Maroon Cale Markham Commits To Finlandia

Former Chatham Maroons forward Cale Markham, who spent half of last season with Chatham, has committed to play NCAA Division III hockey for Finlandia University.

In 24 games with the Maroons last season, Markham had 3 goals and 8 assists.

He was then traded to the Lambton Shores Predators where he scored 11 points in 16 games.

“Cale brings a winning attitude with him,” said Finlandia head coach Joe Burcar in a team news release. “He’s played for champions at every level of his career. Cale knows what it’s takes to be successful and we feel that will catch on with his teammates.”

The 6’2″ Houghton, Michigan forward, also spent a season playing Junior hockey for the GMHL’s Tottenham Steam, winning a GMHL title.
