Langan, Tricker Set To Open World Ball Hockey Championships
Chatham-Kent products Rachael Tricker and Hokey Langan are about to pull on the Canadian jersey with Canada’s National Ball Hockey team at the World Ball Hockey Federation Women’s World Championships.
The tournament will be held in Litomerice, Czech Republic, with play beginning June 19 for Canada.
Canada’s schedule will open June 19 against the Czech Republic.
They’ll then play Russia June 20, the USA June 21, and Slovakia June 22.
Langan is a veteran of Canada’s National Ball Hockey team, while Tricker was scouted at provincials last summer to join the roster for the first time. Langan last won World gold with Canada in 2015, and also won a title with Canada in 2013.
