Maroons Continue To Add To Roster

The Chatham Maroons continued to build their roster this offseason, signing Windsor, Ontario forward Alixe Saliba.

Saliba, a 5’9″, 1998 born forward spent last season with the PJHL’s Wheatley Sharks. He scored 18 goals and 31 points in 33 games, before adding 10 points in 5 playoff games.

The season before, Saliba played 26 games for the Essex 73s.

Saliba is the fourth new player announced by the Chatham Maroons in recent weeks.

Their signings also include Grant Spence, Eric Carter, Dane Johnstone, and Dylan Schives.

Last season, the Chatham Maroons graduated 6 players to age, including leading scorer Austin Thompson, and team captain Steven Beenackers. Chatham is also expected to lose defenseman Braden Henderson to the OHL’s Sarnia Sting.
