Chad Laprise Steps In For UFC 213

Chatham’s Chad Laprise has stepped in to replace an injured Alan Jouban at the upcoming UFC 213.

Taking place July 8 at T-Mobile Arena in Paradise, Nevada, Laprise will fight Brian Camozzi to kick off the main ticket.

Jouban withdrew due to a foot injury.

Laprise is coming off a first round TKO win over Thibault Gouti in his last UFC fight. His opponent, Brian Camozzi is entering only his second UFC fight, losing his only UFC bout to Randy Brown.

The main event for the evening is Amanda Nunes versus Valentina Shevchenko for the UFC Women’s Bantamweight Championship. Yoel Romero will also fight Robert Whittaker for the interim UFC Middleweight Championship.
