The Junior Varsity Chatham-Kent Cougars hadn’t won in three seasons before this year. Now, the Cougars are a perfect 3-0 to start their Ontario Football Conference (OFC) season.

The Cougars will put that perfect record on the line this weekend against the Halton Hills Crimson Tide, playing a 7pm game June 24 in Chatham.

Halton Hills has struggled mightily out of the gate, going 0-3, and being outscored 138-0, opening the door for the Cougars to add another win to their record.

Last weekend, the Junior Varsity Cougars defeated the Sarnia Sturgeon 24-14. Ben Barnard, Jonathan Cartier, and Nakoma Scott had the Cougars’ touchdowns, while Cam Creechan kicked a 32-yard field goal.
