Maroons Add Austin Bentley
A 1997 born forward, Bentley split last season between the GOJHL’s Sarnia Legionnaires, the Dresden Kings, and finally the Blenheim Blades. In Blenheim, Bentley collected 21 points in 12 regular season games, along with 10 points in 11 playoff games.
In 2015-2016, Bentley had a successful season in Junior B, playing for the Waterloo Siskins, scoring 13 goals and 29 points in 48 games.
He joins other Chatham-Kent products Nick Delyzer, Grant Spence, Eric Carter, and Dylan Schives signing with the Maroons this offseason.
Bentley is an alumni of the Chatham-Kent Cyclones, Kent Cobras, and Chatham-Kent Secondary School hockey programs as well.
