Maroons Sign Merlin’s Nick Delyzer

Nick Delyzer will return to the GOJHL in 2017-2018 as a member of the Junior B Chatham Maroons, after the club announced the signing of the Merlin, Ontario product this week.

Delyzer, a three-year Junior veteran has spent the past two seasons with the PJHL’s Blenheim Blades. He also has a season of Junior B experience in 2014-2015 with the Lambton Shores Predators.

Last season, Nick Delyzer had a career high 28 goals and 51 points for the Junior C Blenheim Blades.

The 1998 born, 6-foot-one winger is a Chatham-Kent Cyclones alumni.

Delyzer continues the trend of the Chatham Maroons signing local products this offseason, with the team already announcing the signings of Grant Spence, Eric Carter, Dylan Schives, Alixe Saliba, and bringing in veteran OHLer Dane Johnstone.
