This upcoming Saturday, the Kent Havoc Men’s team will hit the field against another opponent, but they’ll also be looking to help a fellow competitor.

Following the Havoc’s home game, which takes place at 1:30pm at 31 Landsdowne Avenue, the old CCI Football Field, against the 2016 Niagara Rugby Union champions Norfolk, the team will look to raise money for a competitor who was injured against the team last week.

The London player, Ethan Gavin, suffered a serious ankle injury during a game against the Havoc. The injury will restrict Ethan’s ability to work, and support his young family.

After the game, the Havoc will host a post game social fundraiser at The Legion (William Street), where all the proceeds are going to the injured London player.

The Kent Havoc Men’s team is 3-3 on the season, and are looking to beat the best team in the league at home on Saturday.

Well done, Havoc. That’s rugby. That’s class.
