Isaac Headed To U18 Tryout
Wallaceburg’s Kaitlyn Isaac will try to earn attention from Team Ontario and Team Canada’s top brass this summer after being invited to the U18 OWHA High Performance Development/Tryout camp.
The camp, which runs from July 20-23 in Nottawasaga, Alliston, Ontario, will feature the top U18 women’s hockey players from across Ontario, many of whom are already committed to NCAA programs.
Isaac who attends Wallaceburg District Secondary School, is committed to play NCAA Division 1 hockey for Cornell in 2019-2020.
The defender had 3 goals and 7 assists in her first season in the PWHL with the Bluewater Hawks.
Isaac has participated in recent seasons with Team Ontario for the National Aboriginal Hockey Championships, and skated in the Ontario Summer Games last summer, as well as competing with the West Coast Selects program.
In the past, Isaac has also played ‘AA’ womens hockey in Sarnia, and grew up playing boys ‘AAA’ for Little Caesars.
