Kellier Wins Silver At Canada Games

Chatham’s Josh Kellier won a silver medal at the Canada Summer Games in Winnipeg, Manitoba Tuesday. He was the second competitor to cross the finish line in the 3000m men’s steeplechase, finishing with a time of 9:03.18.

Jean-Simon Desgagnes of Quebx won the gold with a time of 9:00.80.

Kellier, who has won on the National stage before, also competes with the University of Guelph Gryphons track and field team.

He will compete in the men’s 1500m final Thursday.

Also Thursday, Ally Oulds of Chatham is in the women’s 400-metre hurdles final.
