Kings Name Ritzer Captain, Announce Veteran Signings

The team announced the return of Kevin Ritzer who will serve as the Kings’ captain this season. Last year, Ritzer had 26 Goals and 40 Assists in 40 games. This will be his fifth season in a Dresden Kings uniform.
Dresden also announced the re-signing of Brendan Ritchie, who had 3 goals and 27 assists in 21 games with the Kings after returning to the team from the Junior B Chatham Maroons, and Geoffrey VandenBoorn, who had 9 goals and 17 assists for 26 points in 37 games.
The Kings are returning their entire hockey staff again this season as GM Jason Badder, head coach Rob Vanderydt, and assistant coaches Bill Nicholson, Burke Daugherty and Tom VanEerd all return.
Last season the Dresden Kings finished 5th in the PJHL Stobbs Division with a 19-20-1 regular season record.
