Lakers Sign 6 Veterans

The Wallaceburg Lakers have announced the signing of six returning players for the upcoming 2017-2018 PJHL Stobbs Division season.

Wallaceburg has signed Matt Brevetti, Dale McMaster, Noah Tetrault and Cody Nicolaisen, Ryan MacAlpine, and Drew Fisher.

The players combined for 3 goals and 13 assists last season.

Brevetti, a defenseman had 6 assists. McMaster topped the forward group with 1 goal and 2 assists, along with 103 penalty minutes in 31 games.

Fisher and MacAlpine split their years between multiple PJHL teams, with Fisher collecting 5 points between the Petrolia Flyers and the Lakers.

The Lakers also have GM Ritch Kanally returning, but have hired a completely new staff this season with assistant GM Darryl Lucio, head coach Rick Vancoillie, assistant coaches Ed Burm, Luke Blackbird, goalie coach Justin Allaer and trainer Trevor Waller.
