Wallaceburg U10 Girls Win Central Lambton League

After an undefeated season the CBD U10 Mite girls remained victorious this weekend in their league tournament. Wallaceburg dominated the weekend of play to capture the Central Lambton League Championship.

The Wallaceburg CBD Warriors beat the Wyoming Wranglers 22-7, followed by the Alvinston River Hawks 24-14, and followed up that performance with a 28-9 win over the Camlachie Cougars.

On Sunday, the Warriors faced the very strong Alvinston River Hawks in a back and forth battle for the gold medal. The CBD Warriors were successful in remaining undefeated, beating the River Hawks 28-19.
