Fantuz Signed To Ti-Cats Practice Roster

Chatham’s Andy Fantuz is one step closer to returning to the Hamilton Tiger Cats.
The Tabbies officially singed Fantuz to the practice roster on Monday, following extensive rehabilitation of a torn ACL last October.
In his time away from the gridiron, Fantuz has been working with the club, serving as Hamilton’s Coordinator of Player Development.
The 33-year-old enjoyed a revitalized season before suffering the knee injury in 2016. Fantuz won the East Division’s Most Outstanding Canadian Award after becoming the first Tiger-Cat in franchise history to snag 100 receptions in a single season while finishing with 101 receptions, good for fifth league wide.
Hamilton has suffered without Fantuz, currently 2-9, sitting in last place in the East Division.
