Lakers Fall to Canadiens
The Lakeshore Canadiens seemed to find an extra gear late in the second period Wednesday night, going on to score four unanswered goals as they dropped the Wallaceburg Lakers 5-2 in PJHL action.
It was pretty much even through the first 40 minutes with Lakeshore holding 1-0 and 3-2 leads.
Wallaceburg actually led 2-1 for a good portion of the second period, matching the Canadiens shot for shot.
The Lakers got goals from captain Matthew Bravetti and rookie Elijah Contreras.
Next up, Wallaceburg takes on the Flyers in Petrolia Thursday night, before taking on the Wheatley Sharks at home next Wednesday.
