Maroons Acquire Two Players

Lamour played23 games last season for the NOJHL’s Rayside-Balfour Canadians, posting a 3.57 GAA and .888 save percentage.
The 2000 born netminder was the 53rd overall pick of the Saginaw Spirit in the 2016 OHL draft, and appeared in 4 OHL games last season, posting a 2.21 GAA, and .901 save percentage.
Steven Fowler is a 1997 born forward from Oxford, Michigan.
The Maroons acquired Fowler from the Caledonia Corvairs, where he currently sat tied for third in GOJHL preseason scoring with 9 points in 4 games.
Last season, Fowler split the year between the MJAHL’s Woodstock Slammers, and the CCHL’s Carleton Place Canadians, both Junior A programs. In 12 games he had 6 points.
The Chatham Maroons are currently 0-3 in GOJHL preseason action, and finish their preseason play next Tuesday against the Sarnia Legionnaires. The game will get underway at 7pm at Memorial Arena.
