Maroons Beat Top Seeded Flyers

The Chatham Maroons faced a tough test Sunday, and passed, defeating the GOJHL Western Conference’s only remaining undefeated team in the Leamington Flyers.

Chatham handed Leamington, who was 5-0 entering the game, a 5-3 loss in front of 845 fans at Memorial Arena.

Bryce Yetman had a 4-point evening, scoring a goal and setting up 3.

Jake O’Donnell also had a multi-point effort, scoring twice, and adding an assist.

Dane Johnstone and Jordan Frasca had the other Chatham Maroons goals.

Defenseman Keegan MacVoy was named the games MVP, while goalie Ryan Wagner made 31 saves in the win.
