Kucera, Dalhousie To Nationals

Chatham’s Lee Kucera and the Dalhousie Tigers men’s baseball team have qualified for the Canadian Intercollegiate Baseball Association Nationals.

Kucera went 3-for-6 with 2 RBIs in a double header to beat New Brunswick this weekend, to advance to the Atlantic Conference championships next week.

They defeated New Brunswick 6-5 and 7-3, and with New Brunswick hosting Nationals, earned an Automatic position at Nationals, regardless of the outcome of next weekend’s Atlantic final against Acadia.

Lee Kucera, a Chatham-Kent Secondary School graduate has a .353 batting average this season.
