The Chatham Maroons won on the scoresheet, but also won for their community, raising funds and awareness during their annual Breast Cancer Awareness Night.

Teaming up with the Canadian Cancer Society and the Breast Buddies, the Chatham Maroons donned pink jerseys, which the team auctions off to raise funds, which over the past four years has totalled more than $13,000.

On the ice, Bryce Yetman and Dane Johnstone each had a goal and an assist in Chatham’s 5-3 win over St. Thomas.

Grant Spence, Steven Fowler, and Josh Supryka also scored for the Maroons, while Dakota Bohn and Jordan Frasca each had a pair of assists.

Ryan Wagner made 29 saves in net for the Maroons.

Chatham next faces the Strathroy Rockets, Saturday, November 4, before against hosting the St. Thomas Stars next Sunday.
