Season Opener Success For Swim Sharks

The Chatham Pool Sharks SEAL League swimmers had a great season opener recently in Aylmer.

The Pool Sharks brought back a total of nine top-3 finishes and 29 top-8 finishes. An amazing start to a new swim season!

For many swimmers this was their first swim meet and the first time they have had the thrill of racing. For our returning swimmers this is always a fun meet to see how much faster they have gotten since last year.

Zain Arwani, Gino DeSantis and Anderson Thiel all visited the podium, with Arwani taking three gold medals in the 7 & under 25 metre back, fly and free as well as a silver in the 25 metre breast stroke; Thiel swam his way to two gold in the Male 7 and under 25 metre back and free as well as a silver in the 25 metre breast stroke; DeSantis captured two bronze in the Male 8 year old 50 back and 25 breast.
