Chatham Ballhawks Take Silver

The 14U Girls Chatham Ballhawks had a successful Saturday in OVA action in Chatham. The Ballhawks hosted an OVA Under-14 girls tournament at CKSS where 14g-blue came in 2nd and 14g-white placed 7th in the 9 team tournament.

At the Provincial Cup Tournament held on Saturday at Chatham Kent Secondary School, the 14U Ballhawks Blue team walked away with silver medals in the Trillium Division. The Ballhawks were defeated in the final by South County Black in an exciting, three-game match 25-11, 22-25, 15-10 for the second place finish.

The Ballhawks entered the playoffs and faced Sarnia Twin Bridges in the quarter-final match and defeated them in two straight games. The girls then took on Forest City Blue in the semi-finals in another two-game match.
