Chatham’s Brendan Harrogate will don a new OHL jersey for the remainder of the season, after the forward was traded from the Mississauga Steelheads to the Oshawa Generals.

“Brendan has been a valued member of our organization over the past few seasons, and we wish him all the best in Oshawa,” Mississauga Steelheads head coach and general manager James Richmond said in a team news release.

Harrogate, who was a seventh round pick of the Steelheads in 2014, is in his third OHL season.

He missed the first month of the season recovering from surgery, and has 5 points in 11 games since his return.

Last season, the Chatham-Kent Cyclones and LaSalle Vipers alumni had 16 goals and 23 points in 45 games.

In exchange for Brendan Harrogate, Mississauga received a 4th round draft pick, and a conditional 7th round draft pick.
