Maroons Trick Lincolns

The Chatham Maroons used a pair of hat tricks from Bryce Yetman and Steven Fowler to defeat the St. Mary’s Lincolns Sunday on home ice 8-1.

Yetman was in on 6 of the 8 goals, adding 3 assists to his hat trick.

The win was also a pleasant return to the net for John Massara, who made 34 saves, allowing only one goal after Chatham allowed 8 goals against in back to back games last week.

Grant Spence and Noah Bushnell had the other Chatham Maroons goals, while Josh Supryka picked up four assists.

Yetman’s 6-point performance extends his team scoring lead. The Maroons’ assistant captain now has 19 goals and 38 points in 22 games this season.
