The Chatham Maroons are about to have a full crease, after the Ontario Hockey League’s (OHL) Windsor Spitfires sent goaltender Lucas Patton to the Maroons on loan.

Patton, who played 22 games for the Maroons last season as a Junior B rookie, made the Windsor Spitfires out of their training camp, and spent two months with the team, but did not appear in a game.

Last season with Chatham, the 1999 born netminder from Waterloo, Ontario collected a 3.56 GAA and .902 save percentage for the Maroons.

Patton is a product of the Toronto Marlboros and Toronto Titans ‘AAA’ programs.

He joins John Massara and Ryan Wagner in Chatham crease.

To make room for Lucas Patton, the Chatham Maroons released netminder Kyle Droge.
