A tough loss for the Chatham Maroons, falling 3-2 to St Thomas at Chatham Memorial Arena.

Head coach Ron Horvat says it was a good effort, but just too little, too late.

The Stars were first on the scoreboard with a power play goal by Matt Couto 3:34 into the second period, followed by another goal from Mason Millman at 12:48. Chatham didn’t find the back of the net until 13:19 in the third period with a goal from Jordan Frasca (assists by Josh Supryka and Bryce Yetman.) Bryce Yetman made it close with Chatham’s second goal at 19:11, but it wasn’t enough to win.
