Genevieve Sasseville clearly deserves the title. Seven medals and a record breaking swim at the 2017 Canada Summer Games topped off an already incredible year of numerous gold medal wins. Genevieve Sasseville deserves the award . She is a very humble child in spite of all her swimming achievements. Has won many gold medals, broke a record at the 2017 Canada games. Academically , she is an A student in all her subjects. Not only does she spend hours in the pool, she also is involved in cross country running.
Jessie McPherson is a hardworking and talented young player. Go Jessie!
My vote goes to Bridget Carleton!!
Go Brooke
Genevieve certainly deserves winning the FEMALE ATHLETE of the year because of her intense devotion to practising so early every morning , her challenges in travelling away from home , her excellency at school and her outstanding achievements in acquiring all those medals!!
