Nolan Gardiner of Tilbury is headed to the QMJHL, ending his tenure in the OHL, after the Ottawa 67s sent the forward to the Baie-Comeau Drakker.

Gardiner had 1 goal in 18 games this season with the Ottawa 67s.

Last year, his first full season in the Ontario Hockey League, the Chatham-Kent Cyclones alumni had 7 points in 47 games with Ottawa.

An 11th round pick of Ottawa in 2014, Gardiner spent two seasons of Junior hockey with the Wheatley Sharks and LaSalle Vipers before stepping up to the OHL.

He has appeared in two games already with Baie-Comeau, without registering a point.

He’s the second Chatham-Kent product to move to the QMJHL this season, as Wallaceburg’s Brady Pataki is playing for the Moncton Wildcats.
