Maroons Win A Pair

The Chatham Maroons got back in the win column this weekend winning a pair of games against the Strathroy Rockets and the LaSalle Vipers.

Sunday night at home against LaSalle, Chatham fought to a 4-1 win.

Steven Fowler scored twice, while Grant Spence and Dane Johnstone had the other Chatham Maroons goals. Johnstone finished the night with three points, adding a pair of assists.

Thomas Michaud and Noah Bushnell also had two helpers each.

Ryan Wagner was strong in net for Chatham making 32 saves.

Facing Strathroy Saturday night, Chatham took a 5-3 victory.

Johnstone again had a goal and two assists, while Bryce Yetman scored a pair, and Grant Spence and Steven Fowler had a goal and an assist.

Wagner again took the win in net stopped 41 shots.
