The Wallaceburg Lakers shutout the Lakeshore Canadiens Wednesday night, upsetting one of the top teams in the PJHL’s Stobbs Division.

Travis Moore made 37 saves for Wallaceburg in the win.

Wallaceburg had goals by Ty Lucio and Cam Wheeler, both in the second period.

Wheeler was making his Lakers’ debut.

The win is the first for Wallaceburg under new head coach Ryan Paxton, and first win in over a month, as they last defeated the Mooretown Flags November 22.

Wallaceburg will play Amherstburg and Mooretown December 29 and 30.
